Let’s share some news: we are growing and need new colleagues! We have new job openings, among them a Procurement Specialist. You might be wondering, what makes a good Procurement Specialist?
We’ve asked the best person in the business who will try to identify a couple of essential qualities to meet the job requirements. Piotr Muszyński, our Country Manager GOPET Poland will share some sound advice with those thinking about joining our Procurement team in Poland.
Piotr: “First of all, you, as our ideal candidate should be an analytical thinker and a good strategist ♟. KPIs and metrics should be no mystery for you because tasks need to be done in a timely matter. Working in a procurement team means you should be detail-oriented and organized, yet you should also have a wider picture view of processes and business. You should also have high communication skills and a friendly, positive can-do attitude. Procurement is very much about relationships and networking, so being a team player with an open-minded personality is a great asset we’re looking for in our future colleague.
Additionally, if you worked as a freight forwarder or have a previous experience in transportation and logistics, you are more than welcome to send us your application.”
We also think that empowering people works better than micro-management. Our teams are a mix of individuals with various backgrounds, personalities, and initiative-driven and creative mindsets, bound together by mutual support, a positive attitude, and a set of common principles. That being said, if you feel that you are the person we’re looking for, please send us your CV.
