The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (Bulgaria) presented the first annual awards in the field of corporate social responsibility for 2021. The awards honored the good practices of socially responsible management of companies and their commitment to various social causes that promote the development of employees, the environment and society.
In the category “Environment” the awards were presented by Petar Nachev, Director of the Directorate “Living Level, Demographic Policy and Social Investments” at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. The winner in the category was Gopet Trans with its intermodal project that aims to switch traffic from road to rail and, by doing so, limit carbon emissions in the field of transport and logistics. Other companies recognized for their contribution within the same category were Carlsberg Bulgaria and Kaufland Bulgaria, which ranked in second, respectively third place.
